Re: Iowa Hiho!
Yeah, uh, thanks for that tops contribution... and now back to your regularly scheduled program.
You know it amazes me how quickly the worm turns. How fickle the American public is.
For decades now Ron Paul has been making inroads to libertarian foreign policy. Inch by inch he has led Americans away from pre-emptive war, away from being the world's police, and toward a hand off, live and let die libertarian agenda. After years of this struggle, and after the slow cancerous morbidity inflicted on the American economy by deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan, people were finally starting to listen. Finally starting to move away from the hawkish foreign policy we've enjoyed since reagen and examine the cost of keeping the world honest and democratic. His crackpot message had finally reached the mainstream.
And now, overnight, Kony2012 has set us back to square 1. 60 million Americans are ready to charge into Uganda with machine guns blazing to smack down righteous indignation on the child molesting, raping murderer from Africa. Never mind Iran and its pursuit of nuclear world dominance, it's all about Kony.
Picture Frogen, sans shirt, bayonet in his teeth, shimmying down from an American black hawk into deepest, darkest Africa. Thanks Ron, ima let you finish, but stand aside. Ima go save them little black babies. How quickly they turn.

Oh so fickle.
So Kony needs nukes and Iran needs to resume kidnapping children to use as decoys in battle?
Yeh, that should help.

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

The Massachusetts Moderate has a couple of away games coming up, and the coffers are looking pretty bare after throwing everything he had at Ohio. Kanses goes to the polls tomorrow, where Santorum is sure to deliver a clear win and peg back Romney's delegate lead. It will also provide him much needed momentum moving into Mississippi and Alabama, which are up on Tuesday with 90 delegates between them. Both are winnable for The Mittinghaus 900 Automated Campaigning Machine, but being deep southern conservative states, either Santorum or Gingrich could take it. The fact that they are battling each other for the non-Romney vote is keeping him in the lead. The longer Newt hangs on the better things look for Romney, and if Gingrich can squeak out a win in Mississippi or his Georgian neighbour Alabama, he'll be more likely to stick around.
Hawaii comes up on the same day and Bama and Miss. Romney will win it easily, but no one will pay attention because it's a blue chip democrat state come the general anyway.
Toward the end of the week Missouri will have their say, which will probably be another resounding endorsement of Santorum's loathsome bullshit. With Louisiana and Illinois warming up in the bullpen, Romney's going to have a rotten month and will be glad when April comes around and delivers base states like New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island to stop the rot.

Yep, an easy win in Kansas for Santorum it was.

Newt has both said that winning Alabama and Mississippi is critical (meaning that if he doesn't win then he is out of the race) for him AND that he will continue regardless of the outcome until the convention this summer. Today we will find out.

Santorum mentioned that the citizens of Puerto Rico should follow the law and make English their first language. He also lost the primary there. Could it be because that there is no such law?
