Noted Tomb. There are real soldiers out there who make real sacrifices. Just seems Frogen was never one of them. And Scorpion was.

One of the lowest death rates ever against an occupying power in war.

Your beloved insurgents Tom have mostly killed other Iraqis who dared to vote to determine their own future.

I would ask you if your sense of shame exceeds your need to say the word peace, but I already know the answer.

935 views of you not proving you ever wore a uniform. How many days now?

And Aussie who said he could fake it seems to have looked in his cupboard and decided maybe he cannot.

Maybe next week eh Frogen when you get those ebay medals. What are you going to do about all the other stuff though?

Seriously funny stuff.

You're seriously ill, Frogen, if your argument for success in Iraq has devolved into who has lost fewer lives than whom throughout history. No allowance for advances in technology from you, I note. You disgust me.

No my argument about lives is this war was easy compared to other historical tasks (though the Left wanted to run even from easy), it’s goals every bit, if not more, Nobel than most historical tasks.

That you feel personally sick (all politics on the Left is about personal feelings, not what other people want or need)says more about your personal nihilism than it does anything about this war.

Gotta go, thanks for the great evening. Serious I was laughing out loud a few times there. And Frogen you fraud, you keep it up, you are a real comic and you dont even know it. Nothing like an internet pretender for some jollys at someone elses expense.

Frogen, you deliberately neglect the thrust of my last point, you deliberately avoid the issue of the war's illegality, and you deliberately avoid the fact that altruism was as far from the true purpose of the invasion as the tide was from retreating at the command of Canute. Are you so blind to reality as to accept that invasion of Iraq was performed purely for the benefit of the Iraqi people? Are you really so biased against that which you clearly do not understand? You poor fool.

In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.
We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragments huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

This war had more legal sanction than almost any war ever fought, 12 UN resolutions, a broken cease fire (which immediately allows for renewed war) and 1441, the final chance.

But what nation limits them to UN sanctioned war? None. None that can fight a war and is not protected by any nation that can.

Illegal war. Get real, this is just a gay talking point to avoid the fact you never stood up for the freedom of the Iraqi people and would have sold them out simply so you could imagine a peace that never was.

Just like the sands stretching round Ozymandias.

PS: Shelly was weak, at least Byron had the guts to die fighting.

and no UNSC sanction in accordance with Chapter VII of the charter to which the US is a signatory. Where is the legality?

I've proven it before and I'll gladly do so again if I knew you'd accept the reality that what you believe is a fantasy. You never will. You prefer to believe what you militarily adled brain has conditioned you to believe. That what the CinC commands has to be right because he/she says so. You poor fool.
JW Frogen wrote:Just like the sands stretching round Ozymandias.
Indeed, Frogen, just like Ozymandias. How future generations will view your vaunted CinC and his legacy. A huge stone foot in the sand of a desert long forgotten and insignificant while the betrayal of his people will echo down through history along with the bankruptcy of a nations future.
