I was denoting to her 'progressive' albeit hypocritical reforms re- the order of succession to the throne, concerning gender and equality.

This and thought it might be a nice touch to put her crown where her rather large mouth is and ponder the concept of her very own husband becoming The King of Consort, this opposed to merely "Prince Phillip."

At present Queen Elizabeth II is Queen in her own right. Her husband is the Queen's consort though is not entitled to be styled King.
Though when a King succeeds to the throne, why is it his wife assumes the title of Queen?

If Queen Elizabeth wants to strive towards gender equality, this and play the gender game, then she must play fair.

She's so healthy - I don't think she'll retire until she's dead and by then Charles will be too old to take over. Although he doesn't seem overly keen on the job or he would have pushed his mother aside by now.
