I'd wack another zero or few onto that 100 year timeframe.

Y'see the energy required to create a magnetic field strong enough to contain a fusion reaction massively outweighs the energy generated by the reaction. Thus fusion remains in the realm of perpetual motion fantasy.
You really are an ignorant little cretin aren’t you?

Do you have any idea of the energy created by nuclear fission/fusion? Give you a hint, thicko, e = mc^2

You truly are a clueless moron, lacking in education.

I see you are still trying to make friends and influence people. ;)

People who quote e=mc^2 without really understanding it is an equation that relates mass to energy only are the true thickos.

I understand it, do you SN. Do you have any idea of the size of c^2? Whereas the energy needed to control a magnetic bottle is ordinary levels, a teensy fraction of that created by fusion.

Lasers are the latest breakthrough in controlling fusion. A supercomputer on which increasingly refined programs can be written to anticipate changes in the magnetic flux due to the fusion etc and fusion will be well on its way. The LHC has also given some clues.

Gee .. sounds like a roaring success ... you should mortgage everything you have to invest in it

I can’t afford a supercomputer, you got some spare change towards that? D’uh! Takes teams of scientists, mathematicians and engineers. I believe they will get there and sooner rather than later.

In the meantime, a few 4thGen nuke plants will help us reduce our emissions.

So just who exactly do you expect to pay for all this stuff you gob off about but aren't willing to put your money where your mouth is for? Typical parasite.

Monk expects the taxpayer to pay for his retirement, his medical problems and everything else. It wouldn't occur to him to provide for himself. He's a typical Leftard.
