I.e you came up with a completely useless example of not only the tech, you also used it as an example of the economics of which it is equally useless. You are yet to come up with a valid point and now you are blathering something about an American news program that isn't shown in Australia
You= Fail

REPOSTED PORTION
I reckon if all the subsidy schemes for all the competing forms of electricity and fuel production were scrapped, and let the various players loose to evolve naturally, we probably wouldn't even need a tax to discourage hydrocarbon induced emissions.
Nothing can compete with solar applications on cost and value for money, so would dominate the energy market without interference for vested interests.
ADDED PORTION
If the $100 million in grants to solar developers (in OZ) were abolished, we'd probably only see mini solar PV panels in electronics shops.
If the $9 billion + in fuel subsidies to the coal industry (in OZ) was abolished we'd see solar merchants selling large scale solar PV arrays virtually everywhere.
If billion$ in construction grants and operating subsidies to the nuclear industry was abolished (in every nuke nation), there would be no nuclear power industry.
If billion$ in R&D grants to oil companies so Woodside petroleum can sell ethanol (in OZ), and the US govt drops its subsidy for bio-diesel (also sold in OZ), the hydrogen fuel industry would take over, but as it is, only Mazda and BMW have released IC engined vehicles running on hydrogen.

So you pay to watch a program you think is biased? I was correct YOU=FAIL
None the less, you still haven't addressed your other fail of tech+economic stupidity.
People like you don't deserve a vote.
You only have to look at what this govt has done to the stock market. Massive gains on overseas bourses, yet here the soverign risk generated by this failure of a govt has sent the local markets into a death spiral

No, I'm saying its available on Pay TV. My parents have Pay TV and I used to watch Jon Stewart on ABC2.
I suppose my answer to the economic stupidity is I still don't see where we're going down the gurgler?

So remind me again then, if this is what happens before the economic destroying policies have come in how this is Labors fault? For instance you've posted a graph congratulations, you can cut and paste, but you haven't shown any analysis which indicates that this has any relationship to Labor.
It really is tiring. Its like talking to Alan Jones without the charisma or dress sense. You probably still solicit sex in toilets though.

You have already demonstrated your understanding of economics is limited to what The Count can teach you on Seasame Street, so you wouldn't understand any analysis unless just believe me when I say you are an idiot and Liebor is the worst govt this country has seen.
But just in case you aren't beyond hope which I have little doubt that you are

Climate change a mixed bag for farmers
http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/australian ... r-farmers/
Scientists found that Tasmania could expect a temperature rise of three degrees over the next century, half a degree less than the rest of the world.
The moderate temperature rise, as well as relatively consistent rainfall levels, has scientists predicting some of Tasmania's farmers will benefit.
More areas will be suitable for crops and pastures in winter, as will land at higher altitudes.
But scientists say there could be changes to crop lifespans and quality, as well as pest numbers.

Time to move south, eh? The smaller islands always have an advantage, being surrounded by vast expances of water that evapourates and blows over them, dropping rain. Continents, however have the problem of the air ofen becoming dry before it blows over their cropping areas. If it was just an increase in temperature that we had to contend with, the outcomes would be more predictable, but the changing weather patterns is what makes climate change so scary.
Fear of the unknown, eh.
