Yes, and she earned a high distinction in the Australasian Schools Mathematics Competition recently, this and received a credit in Science, 2 tests she sat on the same day this and wasn't even supposed to, I only entered her in the Maths one but a child was absent, so the teacher let her give it a crack.

She's 14, cant tie her shoelaces and has her idiosyncrasies, whereby things have to be in order, but give her a puzzle or try and beat her at a game of chess, she's quite freaky actually, and not in a derogatory way.

So I was right, you do have faulty breeding genes, I hope you've been desexed, its not fair the tax payer has to fork out money for people who should never breed in the first place. :D :D :D

She has some wonderful gifts Mel and you must be proud of her. Before you accuse me also of making derogatory remarks about her - you need to read posts properly - all I said was that I didn't realise autistic children could become child care workers and vet nurses.

You obviously have to direct her to an area that she is good at - and if she is good with children and animals - then encourage it if you can.

We all have our days Mantra, but this was something you didn't have to respond to, I didn't encourage you, I had not spoken to you or engaged you in any way, I was talking to another parent online and you burst into the forum with this.

I'm not normally the overly sensitive type... but tears (only a couple) trickled when you posted this.

You are right, my daughter probably wont become a vet nurse, because she has trouble determining left from right, ie, bandage the dogs left paw... but I really didn't need to hear this from you.

Apology accepted, but please, lets never speak another word about it, OK.

I had been invited here before.. just was initially cautious because it looked the same as ozpolitic, and honestly thought a couple of their trolls were having a lend of me again.

They have been known to invite me to sites they themselves own purely for the purpose of .... well anyway, water under the troll bridge. lol

I could have registered handle after handle, this and stayed there , like some do trolling incessantly for kicks, but I said my piece, actually requested the forums owner to ban my 'mellie' handle weeks ago because I could tell it was time for a change.

Honestly, if I'm not welcome here, (trolls venom aside, as they don't really count) and the mods here think I'm not suited to this board, I would really appreciate it if the sites mod could let me know straight away this time, because I don't want a repeat occurrence /turf-war ozpolitic scenario over here, I just want a place I can discuss politics in an informal setting.

ozpoliticytes are a very territorial species it seems.

I'm still not going to get too cosy here, just in case as this site is afterall hosted by the same person who didn't want me on their other site...so the odds are against me to start with.

But I'm sure I will cope in the event this was just another dig, ;)
You are quite welcome here. We only have one real rule: don't post anyone's personal details or post a link to a member's personal details. Both Aussie and JM have done this and while they are still welcome here they lost the trust of other members.

Amazing Mel. Your comments get deleted, but mine get preserved in cyber space.

OK - I concede - the post wasn't necessary, but perhaps you should try and understand why a usually harmless person makes this sort of comment. Your behaviour isn't exemplary and sometimes when we push an issue too far - we get a harder than expected jab right back.

Mantra, all we were doing was discussing the good and bad points of the NBN, I even drew upon my course to demonstrate how this sort of technology could be beneficial...then went on to elaborate how our kids might have to tech-up and wise-up in readiness for many jobs going online, really, it was a friendly discussion, there was no animosity, trolling or bickering or anything, you just came in out of the blue and posted that at which point I resolved you must have hated me so much this and wanted me to leave ozpolitic so bad to have said what you did.

I got upset for two reasons, the fact that I knew my daughter would probably never get to be a vet nurse, this and that I knew at that point I couldn't stay on that forum, it was pointless, my very presence aggravates you, so I came here.

Sorry, have I fucked up again?

Is there somewhere online you don't post where I can safely post without running the risk of somehow aggravating you to the point whereby you want to say the things you do?

If so... i'll happily post there, so long as it's about politics.

Anyway...fuck it..
