A burden that is not required if we had a fiscally responsible govt
Typical simpering leftard- begs to be taxed

True, I coped well with the levies on gun buyback, milk, sugar, airplane tickets and stevedoring operations under the Libs.

Could you post up copies of your complaints you made when the Howard gov introduced at least 6 ,if not more, levies, theres a good girl.

It is so typical of the Libs to complain about a levy on the rebuilding of Qld yet said nothing when Howard introduced the same levy for a gun buy back, obviously the Libs and their cheer squad do not care about their fellow Australians.

Theres a difference skippy. Levies introduced by the Libs are necessary measures to ensure the future of this great nation. Levies introduced by Labor are a tax and dragging down the middle class.

I don't think it''s fair that only the wealthy should pay this tax - those on a lower income should contribute proportionally as well, but there shouldn't be a need for any new taxes. Howard imposed a terrorism tax on our insurance policies a decade ago - so what's happened to that? It must have accumulated to a good sum by now.

Nearly half the amount we pay for our insurance premiums go to the state and federal government in taxes.

Yes of course, how silly of me to overlook the obvious.
The plane ticket levy was a matter of national importance, unlike re building the third largest city in OZ,as I'm sure NOIQ will point out when he provides his C@P showing his outrage at the Howard gov for introducing them.

All introduced by a competent and accountable govt who posted surpluses year after year.
I suppose you are also begging for it up the arse with
Carbon taxes
Alco-pops tax
Mining tax

Money pissed up against the wall
Stimulus sent to the dead and expats
$20Bn surplus gawn
Laptop scam
Whale botch
Fuel botch
Grocery botch

If this govt just sat on their hands, this country would be much much better off
The plane ticket levy was a matter of national importance
You obviously don't care about the workers
