I watched Singing in the Rain a few weekends ago.
I've seen that one many times.

What about Fred and Ginger?

Any of those would easily be #1.

Louis Armstrong ?

Lots of really talented old timers but I think no-one will ever beat Michael Jackson in more modern times.

Yes - in more modern times he stands out way in front.

I think the American female Entertainers have overtaken the males extremely well. Taylor Swift seems way more musically gifted than fake hair colour Elvis.

I don't like her - all disposable music.

I think in the last 20 years, Mick Jagger is probably the highest paid entertainer in the world?
I bet he makes $1 million for every large concert?

If you watch the Taylor Swift doco from her pure country beginnings, you might admire the efforts for her personal integrity that she's made for her music. She's an Alpha female.

Sorry mate - her music does nothing for me.
She sings on stage about her bad choices in guys -
while dressed in her underpants.
What sort of message does that send to young girls? - her target audience.

It tells the story of an Alpha female stuck in a country full of Beta males, especially in the Media industry. And of what she has to go through regarding music career. I'm not saying careers for women is an Alpha thing. No, the family woman there is also an Alpha.
But hey, the process of colonisations in the world are far from complete to the betterment. She's just a sign of the times and places. I'm not a music fan of hers. More a fan of who she is. And despite what she wears, I don't think she's turned black swan. In fact, I think she mocks the male expectation for her to fail and become so, like many have done before.
