Who killed Peter Falconio.

Post by billy the kid » Mon Jul 13, 2020 11:29 am

Don't know if there are any Perry Masons out there....
I have always been drawn to this type of intrigue...that's just me...
Strange that so far no-one has mentioned the sighting or non sighting of Falconio's
body if he was indeed shot in the head by the accused.
Wouldn't Lees have seen the body at some stage....doesn't seem to mention it....
They've mentioned 28 phone contacts from Lees to her "love interest" on one day
a couple of days before Falconio was killed...(aka Steph)...
28 in one day...in Falconios presence or not in his presence.....??
Plus numerous other phone contacts with him over a period of many days....
Lees body language during Police interviews....hhmmm….
Better than watching the Simpsons I suppose....
Only just...... :rofl

I started to watch that last night but the cat took sick and I got distracted.

Are fingers now finally pointing at the girlfriend (who apparently had another boyfriend)? There was always something really OFF about her.

No other footprints in the bush apart from the one shown on the programme…
The footprint shown seems bogus to me....if you're running through soft ground, trying to
escape someone who has just killed your boyfriend, Id imagine the imprint of a footprint would
be much deeper at the toe....go and test it yourself....
The footprint shown is suspect...
There isn't enough blood at the scene....
How did she get out of Murdochs van with her hands cabled tied behind her back and her
ankles cable tied together...
Did she bring her hands from behind to a position in front of her before or after she got out
of Murdoch's van....
Why didn't she notice Murdoch's missing front teeth or his tattoos….
She had the presence of mind to ask if he was going to rape her....
Yet makes no mention of these identifying features....
AND the truckie that stopped for her....
Suddenly the first two pages of his statement "disappear" and the Police
"re-write" them for him, leaving out various details....
The trucker states that the Police told him to sign it and said that if he didn't,
he would be "opening up a can of worms"
Shouldn't the statement be in his hand writing...not written by the Police for him....
Statement is inadmissible....
This whole case is suspect not for what is being said and shown, but for what is NOT being
said or shown....
I read somewhere that the blood at the scene even had animal blood mixed in with it....
Believe what you want to believe....
Della Street would suss this out...or Columbo...or Kojak...or Jason Bourne..... :yahoo

Well like I said, there has always been something really suspect about Lees. She seemed full of BS to me and really sneaky.

Murdoch has been in jail what? 15 years or more now? Probably longer and they are only questioning the validity of witnesses and evidence now?

Who did they point the finger at last night? Lees?

I think their conjecture was that she hadnt been truthful....
Very difficult to prove or disprove anything unless actually in court to observe
witnesses and their demeanour under cross examination....
She was the only "witness"....
No body...no murder weapon...no motive...
Hhmmm...
Stay tuned.....

When this case was new in the news, the NT police doubted the English woman's story supposedly because she'd claimed the assailant had tied her hands behind her back and when she took off into the dark brought her hands to her front.
The NT police claimed this is "very hard to do" ... so I thought "This is like the Lindy Chamberlain case incompetence all over again" ... because it's not hard to bring your hands to your front after being restrained from behind. twice now I've been hand cuffed behind my back and just stepped over the cuffs one leg at a time. A fat neighbour who's buddy buddy with coppers reckoned it is hard, and that I must be very flexible. Crap! .. it takes me 2 months of martial arts training before I can touch my toes with straightened legs.

The manager of a farm I worked on 10 years ago doubted her story because she'd claimed, after escaping into the dark, the assailant sent his Red cattle dog after her and didn't find her. ... Reasonable point. .... Maybe the dog didn't want to find her ... I don't know.

The fact a body has never been found means there is no proof the event/murder ever happened.
Flip side - It takes 12 hours to burn a body to nothing, the sacrum/hip bone is the hardest to destroy ... a bloke I worked with upon my mentioning this said "I'm not sure I want to know how you know that" . I saw it on a channel 7 real crime/mystery show.

The mention above of the 28 phone calls in 1 day is something I've never heard before, and I must admit casts a dark shadow over Miss Lee's story.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

There are many holes in this case....
The very fact that the cables ties which were used supposedly to bind Lees were
supposedly going to be shown to Falconio...supposedly werent shown to Falconio...
The DNA supposedly found in the Kombi van was weak....
The DNA supposedly found on the T shirt of Lees..I wonder if that mysteriously
appeared after Murdoch was exonerated of rape charges in Melbourne, and was then
arrested for Falconio's murder....
Interesting case for those interested...
Obviously almost no-one on this forum gives a stuff....
But then again that applies to almost every thread..... :rofl

Keep yer wig on :rofl

If Falconio is still alive, and there appears to be some thought that he is, allowing Murdoch to be sent to jail for life is a low act.

28 phone calls in one day? WTF makes 28 phone calls to the one person?

I never liked Lees she just seemed smug and sleazy and damned if I could quickly bring my legs through cuffs to bring them from the back to the front.

Apart from that I have no clue :rofl

The case should be reopened.

One can only presume that the original jury was directed by the Judge that they
had to find Murdoch guilty...."beyond reasonable doubt...."
Reasonable doubt.....
No body...no motive..no witnesses except Lees...
Etc etc...
Im not saying Murdoch is innocent...
Im simply suggesting reasonable doubt surely exists....
The trial eventually occurred almost five years after the incident....
"Witnesses" in any trial occurring several years later have difficulty remembering
facts....
Reasonable doubt....
I think so....
