What is wrong with this country....
The above link talks about schools in Tasmania providing lunches for children.
The plan ensures that children not only eat lunch but eat a healthy lunch...
"We don't want them (the children) to worry about where their next lunch is coming from...."
"I think there is a benefit to parents. If they know their child is being well fed at school and they don't have to pack a lunch, I think we'd have a lot of happy parents," she said.
What the fuck is going on....
Isnt it the responsibility of parents to give their kids their school lunch...
In another link I just read.....
"Thousands of students across NSW will be given free breakfasts every morning, with the Berejiklian government to roll-out a program to provide healthy meals in 500 schools."....dated 17th June, 2019.....
This is a similar programme to a school breakfast for kids which operates in Queensland.....
I repeat the question above....
What the fuck is going on...
Is poverty in Australia so rife that parents cant give their kids breakfast, and Tasmanian schools are
now contemplating giving lunches to the kids.....
HOW many people in Australia are REALLY on the bones of their arse…..
How much has our false economy been DISGUISED by politicians......and for how long.....
With the covid19 lockdowns and the huge loss of jobs...with people withdrawing from
their super funds...not being able to get finance to purchase anything....due to their
credit rating going down...(which the government hasn't announced yet....)
This country is in a fkn MESS...…..
That has been occuring for a while, I know a member of Rotary in Wagga who volunteers for serving breakfast to at least one school, I think the supermarkets/bread shops provide left over bread and stuff.

He reckons some of the kids really look like they need it, in particularly a couple of the Abo kids.

I was in Rotary for a couple of years...they do a good job...
We have a lot of problems in this country...we are all being sold a dump by our state
and federal governments...
The sad thing is that there doesnt seem to be any way to hold them accountable....
We can kick one mob out but the other is just as bad...
They continue to lie to the people and the people just swallow everything as though
its all gospel....
For example, how do we know that the Robodebt fiasco was $720 million....
Could it have been more....
How do we know....

The problem with free lunches is that those who can easily afford the time and/or money to provide their kids with their own lunch will take advantage of the 'free'.

Too many impotent parents expect teachers to parent their kids now they will expect them to feed them as well.

Aaah well...maybe it WAS all bullshit.....
Tens of thousands of dead in Australia....
Quick...hide under your bed....the virus might get you....
"Our expert modelling is from....wait for it... our experts...."
Of course, our Governments wont admit that they got it wrong...
All we will get is more bullshit...
How great our response was...how we are re-building the economy of our fantastic country....
AND the governments both state and federal will pat themselves on the back for doing
such a fantastic job.....
Nothing changes...
The plebs just suck it up and the bulllshit and the lies keep on keeping on...... :rofl
AND the media whores are now showing us clips of the plebs all sucking down
schooners as though everythings back to normal.....
WELL...it aint….the whores are just performing their faithful duties as the
governments hirelings..... :rofl

I notice the media is being quiet on the Brad Hazzard front and his appalling handling of the Ruby Princess debacle resulting in many deaths. Funny that.

Another classic example of the incompetence of our politicians.
Australians have already withdrawn $14 billion out of their superannuation funds.
Now there is a further suggestion that beggars belief...…
BUT at the same time, no suggestion that the compulsory superannuation levy be suspended...
AND even though I have raised the issue with several people, no-one is denying the reduction in credit
rating for those who apply for early withdrawal of their superannuation...due to the admission of
financial stress.....
To be honest...I don't think anyone really cares...its all a bit too hard.....

Protesters are allowed to 'protest' in their multitudes yet everyone else (that's us the plebs) has to stay 1.5 metres apart, can't have public gatherings of more than 10 people and can't have more than 5 visitors in their home.

Sound fair? What a ridiculous farce.

How absolutely gutless are our spineless state premiers.....
They kick us off beaches, impose lockdowns, restrict the number of people at funerals and
weddings...they fine us for "idling" on the beach in the park...etc etc...
AND yet when there are protests planned to "support" the Black Lives Matter movement.....
What happens....
Instead of deferring to the medical advice received from the experts, our gutless politicians
handball it over to guess who.....
The cops.....
One law for the general public...another law for the protesters...
It will interesting to see what happens tomorrow with all the protest marches planned throughout
Australia....80,000 protesters rumoured to be in Melbourne tomorrow...with violence planned...
Yet in Melbourne bosses will be fined if employees, working from home, go back to work....
Interesting to see what the Police do....
If they are allowed to protest...why cant they go to the boneheadball…..
Maybe Andrews should check with the CCP as to what to do...after all he is in their pocket....
BUT also interesting to see just how many covid infections stem from the protests....
My guess...….
NIL...….
2nd guess....
Numerous....
What a fkn mess......

Melbourne is a lost cause anyway. At least Gladys woke up out of her stupor from yesterday and changed her tune and told the protesters to stay home.

Not that they will listen.
