Channel 7 covered the Ruby Princess disaster tonight.

We have highly paid incompetent public servants
killing people with their lousy decisions.
They knew that the ship was full of people infected with Covid-19
and they let them disembark and get into taxis -
on trains, on buses -
go home -
get on airline flights etc.

Now for channel 9s version on 60 minutes
starting in a few minutes.

Watching the Ruby Princess investigative show. I thought it might be quite good but Kevin Rudd? Seriously?

At least 10 Govt people need to be hanged as they made decisions that allowed
many people to die -
it would set a good example to others.

Hazzard was useless and had no clue and I wouldn't trust the doctor who had to take over from him (no idea who she is) as far as I could throw her. She just did not instil any confidence in what she was saying.

Homicide is involved now but I doubt anything will happen in the long run. Then again, there are a lot of unhappy families involved who probably won't sit back and just let this go away.

I feel that further interviews with numerous witnesses will uncover a breach of duty of care..therefore negligence....
Irrespective of this, I think that families of the deceased persons will commence a class action against
the NSW Government.....only time will tell....I just hope that its not just brushed under the carpet...

It seems like Carnival lied about the state of affairs on the ship so there will be a lot of buck passing.

Apparently there was a 000 phonecall from the ship requesting the ambulance....it was to
NSW Health.....it went for 17 minutes....interviews one and two will be with the caller
and the receiver.....no doubt the call was recorded.....or should have been....
