When are cruise ships going to be totally banned from Australia.

There are currently two off Fremantle in Western Australia

One with no Australians on board (lots of Europeans) but four passengers with corona virus, what is to happen to these ill ones?

Another ship with 400? Australians on board.

Ones from WA will apparently be quarantined on Rottnest Island WA

The premier of WA is trying to negotiate with the feds to fly the others to their home states for home quarantine.

I reckon all cruises will be banned from leaving from OZ soon, I have a Fiji one booked for October but will likely cancel that myself if they dont cancel first.

Too risky now in my opinion!

Gomer slapped a 30 ban on passengers (on 15.3.2020) disembarking, but state grubberments are allowing them to get off
under strict conditions....whatever the fuck that means...even in Tasmania, passengers were banned from disembarking
but some are getting off....NSW have allowed four ships to dock....this is madness and once again demonstrates that
Gomer cannot control the States.....but I suppose if the federal grubberment has gone on holidays until August, they
couldn't even overrule any state giving permission to ships to dock.....
I always thought that federal legislation overruled state legislation...afterall the Commonwealth Constitution enables
the Australian grubberment to make laws for the "peace,welfare and good government of the colony"
Unfortunately, our federal grubberment is on holidays...…til August......

The numbers are going through the roof no thanx to the passengers being let off the Ruby Princess...…

Someone needs to be accountable for letting the passengers off the Ruby Princess and not be hidden and shielded. They need to pay the price for that idiotic decision! People have died.

I gather if there are Ozzies on board, they have to let them disembark but have to go into two weeks quarantine!

They do seem to be breeding grounds for the virus

Lots of people 2000+
Small lifts between decks
Narrow corridors on each deck
Lots of entertainment bars, theaters with close proximity
A food hall like the local mall as one dining option with shoulder to shoulder passing each other
Larger restaurants not so bad but some lining up to get in at busy times
If one uses stairs between decks brass railings to touch on each side
