Only in part, Nom. As I have related, in 10 years I didn't encounter a single wife basher when I was in the army. I traveled fairly extensively in that time. I knew people in many different units - arms and services. That sort of thing doesn't stay hidden for long in the small, close knit communities that are most units. The Defence Forces are still a good outlet for aggression. They teach you to control it and use it. Afterall, that is what they are meant to do. Of course, some people cannot handle the stress that comes with a deployment. There are often relationship problems during and after.Nom De Plume wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 3:26 pmAll we have done is confirm that organizations designed for killing, are not examples of a positive outlet as a part of the self-actualization process.
I would have thought that to be pretty obvious... Wouldn't you agree Brian?

Blah blah blah...just in case you overlooked it boofhead...the thread title refers to domestic violence in 2020....brian ross wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 4:38 pmYeah, yeahd, whatever, Billy. You got caught out spreading your usual bullshit, making up lies. Oh, dearie, dearie, me. Tsk, tsk.billy the kid wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 2:06 pmYou implied that by joining the Armed Forces that this would provide the outlet to which both you and Non De Plume referred.
You stated…."All to a lesser or greater extent provide an outlet to channel (and control) your aggressive tendency, Nom. However, most Australians are lazy and don't want to make that sort of commitment..."
You state that to join the Army is to channel and control aggressive tendencies...therefore it follows that your implication
is that to join the Army you cease to be a wifebasher…
You state that most Australians are lazy and don't want to make that commitment.
You sing the praises of the Army as an answer to domestic violence as it provides an outlet to control aggressive
tendencies which is total bullshit.
You continue to make sweeping ludicrous statements as though you know everything about everything, whereas
in reality you know sweet fuck all.
The Military is full of wifebashers...do some googling boofhead...
I spent 10 years in the Army. I encountered exactly zero wife bashers. The are, I suspect fewer wife bashers in the military community than in civie street.
When were you in the Army.....1980.....that's 40 years ago boofhead….
The previous link I provided is recent...we are talking about 2020...
If the Defence Force is so "pure" why then is it necessary for the Military to create a Defence Family and Domestic Violence
Strategy...what necessitated the creation of this strategy.....

Try to keep up boofhead…..
