I met her when we were just 18 and decided to marry 12 months later, but our families were a problem, she from wealthy parents, me from poor.
It took nearly 3 years to get over that little hurdle.
We also heard that " it wouldn't last"
Well, close to 40 years later, we still love each other.
We still do everything together and we still have a healthy, happy family.
A lot more than some can say.
And at 61 with our first great grandchild, there is an excellent chance we could one day be great, great grandparents.

All I got from marrying my darling, was, my darling.
No money, no nothing, just a mother in law that hates me.

I get by on hard work and being frugal.
