Obvious to me that Reserve Banks world wide are reducing interest rates for one reason only...the banks are in trouble....
they are actually reducing rates not to stimulate the economy, but to "save" the banks.....
The banks are rooted.....think about it....
We dont have accounts at the corner store any more...we dont have accounts at the butcher, the baker, Mitre Ten, Bunnings, The Pizza Hut....MacDonalds, BWS..etc etc....
We have a credit card from a Bank...or several credit cards from several Banks...
We have a mortgage, granted by a Bank...or several mortgages granted by several Banks...
IF we lose our job........are made redundant...go bankrupt....we cant pay our debts....
How many people only pay the minimum, because thats all they can afford....

45 million Americans are on food stamps....thats 1 in 7...

When I lived in Sydney, we had a neighbour who had 17 (SEVENTEEN!!!!!) cats. She came to me one day crying because when she had backed out of the drive she ran over one of them! My hubby created a shang-eye out of a bit of a shrub and some rubber bands (see picture below .... similar to this) and used fishing sinkers to aim at the "pink spot". He also trained the dog to "skitch" them if they came into our back yard! One cat is OK ... more than that .......
