A Victorian Labor MP has been taken in for questioning by ACT police after an explosive incident at his Canberra hotel this morning.
Will Fowles, who claimed the seat Burwood as Victoria’s Labor government won re-election in a landslide last year, was reportedly involved in a dispute with hotel staff as he claimed they were illegally holding his luggage.
Mr Fowles destroyed a door during the altercation.
The incident happened at Abode Apartments in the suburb of Kingston, a five-minute drive from the federal parliament.

The stories about him not paying his workers is pay walled so I can't read or post it. He clearly has a lot of rage going on to do that amount of damage though.

A Victorian state Labor MP involved in a disturbance at a Canberra hotel on Thursday morning has stepped aside to deal with drug and alcohol issues.
Premier Daniel Andrews backed Mr Fowles on Thursday afternoon, saying "he has my full support".
But it remained unclear whether Mr Fowles has been using illicit drugs while serving as the state MP for Burwood, the eastern suburbs seat he has held since the November 2018 election.
Canberra police say they have not charged Mr Fowles, who says he has been dealing with poor mental health and addiction.
But police not not ruled out bringing him to court.
In a statement published on Thursday afternoon, the MP apologised to staff at the hotel, his family and constituents, saying he was deeply ashamed of his conduct and would take a leave of absence.

He should be charged. Ordinary citizen 'Joe' would be charged and what's with the leave of absence? Paid?

DONT THEY KNOW WHO HE IS?
FOR GOODNESS SAKE, DOES HE NOT WALK ON WATER AND FEED THE MASSES?
Politicians honestly believe they are better than everyone else.
The sad fact is that they are the worst of humanity.
They lie, they lie all the time.
They often make decisions that hurt people, but they care not.
They rort, cheat, take bribes and openly steal.
They are deeply involved in insider trading
This scum should be put down as traitors to the Australian people.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

............. A Victorian Labor politician will seek treatment for addiction and his mental health after an incident he was involved in led to ACT police being called to a Canberra hotel.
"This morning I made a very bad mistake," he told reporters when he arrived back in Melbourne.
"I want to apologise unreservedly to my colleagues, to my constituents and to my family.
"This has been a very distressing morning." ...........

people that confess their mistakes, I always give a 2nd and 3rd chance to.

Right on the money Val.
I remember a similar incident at a restaurant where a NSW state Labor MP who's husband was a Fed MP (or other way 'round) had a tantrum and asked angrily "Do you know who I am?"
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?
