I am an Australian living in Australia. Like most Australians, to some extent, I follow what happens in the USA but no doubt you will know far more about it that I ever will, assuming you are a Texan as I do.
I just heard that you were a republican and thought you may be another American. Me being the newer guy, it’s harder to get to know everybody.
Easy mistake to make. Australians don’t tend to refer to themselves as ‘republicans’ or ‘democrats’. It’s a tad suss.
Being the newer guy, I think you’re starting to get a grasp on things very well

I still catch myself trying to use the term liberal, which is what we call lefties in America.

The other thing is sometimes figuring out the men from the women. Is Billy the Kid male or female. Male spelling and female avatar. I’m guilty of that myself with Mrs Texan as my avatar.
