Apparently, they are turning up in droves at the pre-polling booths. When the people at the booth ask "will you be away?" It isn't telling fibs if you say Yes because you just want to get it over and done with, is it?

Actually, I tried a Postal Vote this time. :rofl Cancelled Rednecks vote! :purple :purple :purple

I am glad to hear that nef... its a waste of a vote giving it to anyone else...

I would rather not vote at all... because your preferences will decide who gets your vote..

and god know as we have seen witn Anning.. they can get in on a fluke

is that seriously anyway to have a govt elected?????????????

I wil double cancel red out but they aint done yet.... dont forget a week in an election can be a long time.. :rofl

From what I have read it was Shorten who brought his mother up nationwide and only told a half truth. The DT just corrected him and told the whole truth.

EDIT: Shorten apparently said that she his mother had wanted to study law but had to take a teacher's scholarship so she could support her younger siblings.

The truth (as the DT reported) is that his mother did in fact go on to study law, graduated with first class honors and then went on to practice for 6 years or more.

Labour now $1.19
Coalition $4.25....
Game set and match....
Labour on these odds, will win the election.....
Unfortunately, Australia will be the losers, as Labour will screw the entire country....
Fasten your seatbelts people...wages will go up, unempoyment will go up, and Australia
will be deeper into a recession by the middle of next year....
Shorten will be worse than the incompetent Keating......
BTW...I dislike both sides...I dont support the coalition.....they are both incompetent....
