Turnbull absolutely nails it

Post by LEFTWINGER supreme » Mon Apr 22, 2019 5:17 pm

Turnbull said. “The consequence is no integration of energy and climate policy, uncertainty continues to discourage investment with the consequence, as I have often warned, of both higher emissions and higher electricity prices.

Nails it, this is exactly what the problem is

Then we follow it up with this , and for the slowies in-room see why the coal lition have been an absolute failure and the buck stops squarely with them for putting us a generation behind, and of course the imbeciles that voted them in.

Peta Credlin admits the climate change policy under Julia Gillard's Labor government was never a carbon tax, but the coalition used that label to stir up brutal retail politics.

Credlin, the former chief of staff to Tony Abbott when he was prime minister and now a political commentator for Sky News, said the coalition made it a "carbon tax" and a fight about the hip pocket rather than the environment.

"That was brutal retail politics, and it took Abbott six months to cut through and when he did cut through Gillard was gone," she told Sky News on Sunday.

Well, then Credlin's wrong. Rudd intended to introduce carbon trading, because it was such a failure in Europe, and that's before the Russian mafia got in on the scam.
Gillard said "There will be no carbon tax under a government I lead". But when forming minority govt the Greens demanded a carbon tax, so Gillard introduced a carbon tax called a "carbon tax" and then gave welfare recipients extra money called an "energy supplement" to compensate for the carbon tax called a "carbon tax".

EDIT ADDITION: It was Abbot who called Labor's carbon tax "a tax on everything", and he was right on the mark.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

So credlin (your chief of staff) was under the influence was she :giggle , thank goodness they got rid of a carbon pricing mechanism that was working on not only an environmental level but a financial level as well, thank goodness electricity prices came down and we got our 550 bucks when they abolished it, oh wait you tried to bury that legacy changing leaders three times
