Brian is full of hate and disdain for anything/anyone non muslim.

I thought Brian was raised a Roman Catholic, like Monk was, something must have turned them off Christians to hate them so much.

If you became a turned off being christian wouldnt you just become an atheist ?

We are the most persecuted group in the world for almost no reason

Religious people are often offended by what I know about religion.
That's because they're emotionally attached to it.

So trying to keep it objective rather than subjective, I'll mention a few things.

Christians are persecuted because the religion is pacifist .. although 'turn the other cheek' is actually Buddhist in origin.
They are targeted because those persecuting can do so with impunity.

In a morbid way fundamentalist (doomsday/2nd coming) Christians should be delighted, because this is the 'tribulation'.
Although it wasn't Jesus (real name Joseph) who promised to return, Krishna did.

The 'Precession of the Equinoxes' doctrine doesn't just relate to axial precession and climate change cycles, it also relates to the changes in spiritual belief systems.
The Zodiac is a map of the sky, and each zodiac character represents 1 of 12 30 degree sectors during a 2165 year period in which the sun rises in a particular sector. As the axis shifts, as it constantly does, we pass though the various zodiac sectors. The continents move into different climate zones and the religions change.

12 X 2165 years = 25,920 years. Which is the time it takes our solar system to do 1 lap of our galaxy (Milky way).
On this elliptic orbit, just shy of every 13,000 years we pass closer to the centre of our galaxy, which has constant star and planet forming cosmic explosions, and so we are exposed to higher levels of cosmic radiation, which charges up our sun.

So for 2165 years up until the 22nd of December 2012 we were in the 'Age of Pisces'. During which time the dominant religion was represented by a fish - Christianity. So without being disrespectful, the simple truth is Christianity's time is up/over.

The cycle through the zodiac characters goes in reverse. During the Age of Leo' lions were deified and the Sphinx was carved from bedrock (A pharaoh's head recarved on it within last 7000 years -x explains water erosion on body but only wind erosion on head) During the Age of Cancer, turtles were deified. Japanese predecessors of Shintoism carved big rocks into turtles. American Indians believed the world rode on a turtle's back. During the Age of Gemini' snakes were deified (ie Rainbow serpent) .. later religions cast snakes as evil/satanic. During the Age of Taurus cattle were deified. Minoans worshiped bulls and Brahma became part of the Trimurties (Hindu Trinity) ... Shiva is accompanied by a white bull called Nandi. During the Age of Aries people were considered to be like sheep, thus terms like Shepherd and Flock being attached to religion.

What new religion or spiritual belief system will arise in the Age of Aquarius I don't know, but whatever it is it'll be to do with water.

Religion is really just a vehicle to carry a set of ideas ... and the most comprehensive covering spiritual concepts is Hinduism.
Hinduism contains almost everything within all the other religions .. with a few exceptions, but very few.

So if Christians value the ideas/concepts/beliefs within Christianity they need to look for a way to have those ideas transferred to whatever the new religion is.

Personally I find the Tibetan Book of the Dead the most fascinating piece of religious text ever written. It explains that everything depends on belief. If you believe it, then it's true for you.
