She may well win but Labor will not. She is an Independent.
I worry about you LW. You are so rusted on you are stuck without hope. People should vote for whoever they think will benefit said community and not for either ALP or LNP just because they are sheep and/or their forebears voted for a particular party.
Both major parties have changed from their roots and neither one of them is better than the other. It's a matter of which one is worse than the other and that is almost impossible to distinguish. They are both CRAP and need a shakeup but if Labor had a better border protection policy they might get somewhere!! Labor never win it's just that the Libs lose and hand it to them

I well aware she is an independent and gleefully look forward to her appointment as the member for Wentworth and of course the fallout from the Libtards being plunged in to minority government

Yes, they are both very similar.
I feel labour play the media/political game better.
The libs make the tough decisions.
We do not have a significant party that make long term decisions for Australia.
Due to the 3 year electoral period, parties are swayed toward making a 2 year plan, at best.

The lack of co-operation makes for a worse Australia.
Much of party 'A's resources goes into defending itself against party 'B's attacks.
And Vice versa.
It is disappointing.
