You weren't even born here so shut your fucking gob! You are a bloody migrant, go back "home" if you can't accept what Australia has done for YOU ... arsehole.

This question was not even addressed to me but it resonates.

What has Australia done for me?

It said welcome home, it allowed me to earn a decent wage in a profession I quite frankly would never have chose for myself.

It has taught me not to be such a fucking idiot, and usually forgave me when I am.

Australia allowed me to buy a house, and my son was born here without me having to worry about the cost. And my son was born here, so he is Australian, not American. I love him and Australia for that.

Australia has helped me in sickness, and praised me in health.

I make fun of this country all the time, but secretly I thank you Australia, I won't tell you so because I am an asshole, but I owe you one.

And I know it.

We are one fucking lucky country.

I loved the "you are only a migrant" when here we are all fucking migrants, even the aboriginal race migrated here (same as in America and in both cases a second migration pushed the first lot aside: inuit and Tasmanian aborigines.)

Yes, yes, we are all migrants. Spare me the primary school debating tactics

Sorry, didn't realise I was talking to you, boxy! The person I was talking to the primary school level stuff was likely too hard for him :)

Frogen, you are truly the next Banjo Patterson :)

Hmm - was he a migrant too?
