New board

Off Topic is becoming a mess. As I have voiced many times, I hated the Vortex and don't want to see its return, nor anything similar. I think most members are in agreement there. We don't need guest posting as it just incites and excites the mentally unstable.

A members only forum is something that most forums offer and I think it is worth a shot.

We can only see how it goes and, if it is abused, we can always close it.

Well it took ages but that was 2 of my suggestions finally implemented.
I say no to another Off Topic as suggested above.

I'd be tempted to let Monk back in but under close moderation, if we really wanted someone to butt heads with regularly.

There is no problem, Monk thinks I am YOU, IQ ... he is the smartest IP collector on the block (after Aussie).

It has been suggested we create a new board alternative to Off topic where ALL MEMBERS have access. Off topics purpose is to host discussion of things like Music,Movies and adventures, like Yogis great tales. The new board could contain other discussion deemed inappropriate for Off topic. This new board would be viewable to ALL MEMBERS.
Thoughts?

Waste of time.

It will go the way of Vortex and the way of Offtopic.
