I watched a program on Trump last night. He was a bully and a dissident from the day he was born. His wealthy parents had to send him to military school when he was 11 because he was such a difficult child. He walks all over people and is a hypocrite of the highest order. Says one thing and does another and makes no apologies for it. His voter base is the uneducated, racist male and the few females who will vote for him don't seem to care that he only has contempt for them. Trump is basically a bogan dressed in gold.

Having Fox in opposition may work against Trump, as Rupert is indeed the king maker - Gough Whitlam got elected because Rupert supported him, and lost miserably next time round because Rupert withdrew support - but slagging off women won't make much difference because the women who take offense want to be offended because it makes them fell indignantly morally superior and wouldn't have voted for him anyway, so he's lost nothing. And the women who would vote for him recognise the nuance is targeted at femi-nazi professional victims and are not impressed by politically correct sycophants.

But the fact is the American population is angry with the political class (as is the case in much of Europe) and being portrayed as ignorant, uneducated racists for favouring the only viable alternative to the political class merely strengthens their sentiment and generates cynicism for the mainstream media.

EDIT ADDITION: The sensational comments regarded as offensive work in Trump's favour, #1 because they generate free publicity and , #2 because he head kicks those the American public have lost faith in.

My best guess is Trump will initially succeed, and then like Clive Palmer blunder from one scandal to the next before self induced implosion.

Our Federal elections have been that way for years. Now we don't even have a choice as all parties are hated equally. The higher powers will prevail though in the US. Those who pull the strings of any President are predominantly Jewish and they won't allow Trump to compromise their ideals.
