Why the fuck would we do that?Chard wrote:You know, y'all could ask an American about this shit. Just saying.
Also, long time no talk, my down under niggas.
We already know that in the US the under 30s are masturbating furiously over the thought of a grey haired communist, the over 30s are spurting over Billary and the rednecks and the rest love the thought of Trump.
I'd say your fucked every which way.

Don't let it bother you Nef, my father is 78 this year and still a member of the Liberal party. You can imagine Xmas dinner in my family?Neferti~ wrote:No, I am not lying. I don't like Hillary Clinton nor do I like Donald Trump. I don't care who the next President is. I have never heard Obama speak, I don't watch/listen to that sort of thing.
I don't like Bill Shorten, nor do I like Malcolm Turnbull. I have never heard either of them speak. If it wasn't compulsory to vote (be on the Electoral Roll) I wouldn't. In fact, I have been left off the Roll several times over the years, turned up to vote, found that I had been left off the Roll, again, so I didn't bother voting. Do you see me whinging about The Government?
When I do get to vote, I follow the Liberal how to vote card, my parents and grandparents would turn in their graves if I voted Labor.
Why am I on a Political site? Who knows, I don't comment much about politics anyhow. Maybe I should do a Monk and flounce out?

I am doing great. Retired about four months ago, the Lil Ladyand I got back from visiting my family in Jamaica two weeks back, and I just learn my state has two Republicans trying to legalize medical Marijuana. In other words....Black Orchid wrote:Estoy bien, gracias. Como estas tu?
My Spanish is fucking terrible (Like I can barely get drinks and order food and find the way to North), and the only reason you understood any of that is Diane keeps pestering me to learn. All men should be so lucky, right?Black Orchid wrote: (Spanish is not my forte although I did do a little Latin in school)

The Iowa Caucus is today and the Republican field will quickly narrow. Many of the candidates are only polling at 2%. I suspect Trump, Cruz, and Rubio will still be standing and going to New Hampshire with confidence.

Republican Donald Trump has conceded defeat to Ted Cruz in Iowa's presidential nominating contest, while Democrat Hillary Clinton is locked in a tight race against Bernie Sanders.
Mr Cruz, a conservative US senator from Texas, led the billionaire businessman by 27.7% to 24.4%, with 90% of precincts reporting results in the Midwestern US state.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio, viewed by many Republicans as a more mainstream alternative, was nipping at Mr Trump's heels in third place at 23%.
Mrs Clinton, a former Secretary of State, held a lead of 49.8% compared to 49.6% for Mr Sanders, a US senator from Vermont, with 90% of precincts reporting in that race.
Mr Trump told supporters: "We finished second and I just want to say, I'm really honoured and I want to congratulate Ted."
But in typically bullish style, he predicted he would still win the Republican nomination.
The third Democratic candidate, Martin O'Malley, has suspended his campaign after trailing badly. He has gained less than 1% of Iowa's votes.
