No, I am not lying. I don't like Hillary Clinton nor do I like Donald Trump. I don't care who the next President is. I have never heard Obama speak, I don't watch/listen to that sort of thing.

I don't like Bill Shorten, nor do I like Malcolm Turnbull. I have never heard either of them speak. If it wasn't compulsory to vote (be on the Electoral Roll) I wouldn't. In fact, I have been left off the Roll several times over the years, turned up to vote, found that I had been left off the Roll, again, so I didn't bother voting. Do you see me whinging about The Government?

When I do get to vote, I follow the Liberal how to vote card, my parents and grandparents would turn in their graves if I voted Labor.

Republican Donald Trump has conceded defeat to Ted Cruz in Iowa's presidential nominating contest, while Democrat Hillary Clinton is locked in a tight race against Bernie Sanders.

Mr Cruz, a conservative US senator from Texas, led the billionaire businessman by 27.7% to 24.4%, with 90% of precincts reporting results in the Midwestern US state.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio, viewed by many Republicans as a more mainstream alternative, was nipping at Mr Trump's heels in third place at 23%.

Mrs Clinton, a former Secretary of State, held a lead of 49.8% compared to 49.6% for Mr Sanders, a US senator from Vermont, with 90% of precincts reporting in that race.

Mr Trump told supporters: "We finished second and I just want to say, I'm really honoured and I want to congratulate Ted."

But in typically bullish style, he predicted he would still win the Republican nomination.
