Star Wars The Force Awakens.... more like a reboot than anything else. But the fans will cling to anything to get more Star Wars... 6/10 maybe 7...

I saw it on Sunday, my son wanted to go, he even hired all the previous movies over the past couple weeks so he had a gist of what was going on.Rorschach wrote:Anyone seen the latest Star Wars yet?
It was ok to good. I've never been a huge fan but I enjoyed it. Gee it was loud though.
Considering it was so long since the last one was made I think they did it justice. Id give it a 7/10. Given the way it ended and how much Disney paid for the rights I'd put my house on there being at least another one.

Star Wars has never been my thing. However, I have watched these movies on Foxtel recently, and enjoyed them all. Some of you blokes might enjoy them. They definitely NOT "tear jerkers".
1. Kingsman: The Secret Service with Colin Firth.

2. Nightcrawler with Jake Gyllenhaal

3. A Walk Among the Tombstones with Liam Neeson

4. American Sniper with Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle.

Kingsman: The Secret Service was a really good movie. 8/10
Nightcrawler was total crap. 1.5/10
A Walk Among the Tombstones was mediocre 6/10
American Sniper was a good movie but the scenes with the fake baby really detracted from the whole thing. Totally fake and bizarre, it was a joke. High budget movie so why the obviously fake baby? 7/10 because of the fake baby scenes.

Re: At the Movies...
Anybody see a movie called The Crying Game? It's probably about 25 years old now but I remember seeing it again on TV in the past couple of years and thought it was...interesting.
Just a side comment on it I think Culture Club did the theme song for it. I was never a boy George or Culture Club fan but I liked that song. Just reading those movie choices of Nefs made me think of it,I don't know why.

I saw The Crying Game many many years ago. All I really remember about it is "that" scene. Culture Club had a few good songs. Boy George had a really nice voice.
I watched Knock Knock the other night. Saw Keanu Reeves and thought it would be ok. It wasn't. It was so bad I deleted it and I usually keep movies for viewing in the future. 2/10.
Certainly a come down after John Wick.

I must have left the room when the fake baby was on the screen.Black Orchid wrote:

I hadn't realised it was based on a real story at the time. Sad that Chris Kyle got shot, dead, by some returned Military person at the Rifle Range that he and the other guy were trying to help.

Another movie I watched recently was "The Water Diviner" with Russell Crowe.

I don't usually rate movies, I either like them or I don't.
