Funny.

Did that. We woke up to go crayfishing in the Murrumbidgee and we forgot meat. Went and shot a bunch of feral cats and they worked a treat. A little fresh though so we had to sit 1/2 of them in the sun for a while and reset the pots after a few hours.

Sorry about your dog Skippy. Been there done that too many times and I know how horrible it is.

I have always been a sucker and animal lover and just don't see them as 'disposable'. I also cannot come to terms with shooting animals and enjoying it no matter what the 'justification'. We are all different though.

SN perhaps you could shoot some feral humans next time?

A long time ago.

Today I don't kill anything but bugs in the house.

Everything deserves to live provided it does not threaten me or my family or it is for food (survival)

The Great Emu War was a military operation undertaken in Australia over the latter part of 1932 to address public concern over the number of illegal aliens said to be running amok in the Campion district of Western Australia.

Animals are pretty hard to exterminate, with conventional military tactics. Destruction of their habitat seems to be the most effective method.
