Turnbull is not an option mantra unless you vote Labor or Green.

Last time they started talking about Turnbull replacing Abbott there was a huge backlash with Liberal voters signing a Petition that they would NOT vote for Turnbull. Many people said at the time that they would get their names crossed off the Roll and write rude words on the ballot paper, rather than vote Liberal IF Turnbull became leader. I doubt that anyone has changed their mind.

They are now touting Morrison as the next Liberal Leader. I doubt that too. However, one day a rooster the next a feather duster in politics.

I think Morrison would do a better job than Abbott and he's probably the best choice they have overall.
But you never know what will turn up for the actual job.
