I don't know why he even bothers to post about Australian politics. He never gets it right.
Bill Shorten is not the best Labor has to offer and for some stupid reason Albo's obvious popularity with the electorate has been dutifully ignored by this lack lustre current party- unions again I susoect..
Shorten seems to have a tight grip on the party. He was pulling the strings when they got rid of Iemma - the ex premiere of NSW - then he got rid of Gillard and Rudd. He's a dangerous man and very cunning - probably a good match for Abbott, but certainly not leadership material.

The Coalition will have to make up their mind soon about what to do with him. The polls are getting worse by the day. In the Coalition's state of confusion, they must be feeling the pressure to push him out of the way to make room for Turnbull.
Turnbull has a whopping 18-point lead over the next most favoured choice in Julie Bishop; a 26-point lead over Abbott, and a 36-point lead over the circling Scott (ScoMo) Morrison and the struggling Joe Hockey.
He is seen as more in sync with an electorate that wants more action on climate change and supports marriage equality.
Because much of Turnbull's support is coming from those who say they will not vote for the Liberal Party under current circumstances, a switch to the former leader should do more than one to any of the alternatives to improve the Coalition's prospects.

Turnbull is not an option mantra unless you vote Labor or Green.

Tony Abbott says 'it's OK to be gay' but insists same-sex marriage is not OK
This is getting lot's of publicity.
Does his stance on this issue affect peoples views of him.
A fair middle ground for a PM don't you think.
Always remember what you post, send or do on the internet is not private and you are responsible.

Last time they started talking about Turnbull replacing Abbott there was a huge backlash with Liberal voters signing a Petition that they would NOT vote for Turnbull. Many people said at the time that they would get their names crossed off the Roll and write rude words on the ballot paper, rather than vote Liberal IF Turnbull became leader. I doubt that anyone has changed their mind.
They are now touting Morrison as the next Liberal Leader. I doubt that too. However, one day a rooster the next a feather duster in politics.

No. It might have an affect on the progressives but they hate him anyway.
Didn't the Liberals/Nationals recently take a vote and the majority were against SSM? Most people care less what the poofters do, provided that they don't alarm the 'orses.
