I happen to think the only politician in the country worse than Shorten as a PM is Abbott. Maybe I'm wrong about Shorten but with Abbott the proof is in his pathetic record. I expect Shorten to be just as bad and in four years time whoever is leader of the Libs will no doubt become PM.

Well if you'd read any of my posts over the last two years that Shorten has lead Labor you would know I think he is the worst Labor leader in the parties lifetime.
Not sure what you think you're right about, other than I said Abbott is a proven failure and we are yet to see just how big a failure Shorten will be. But if you read my post you will notice I said I expect Shorten will no doubt win the next election and lose the one after.
No bias there just stating the obvious. Oppositions don't win elections bad governments lose them. This is a bad government as will be any government lead by Shorten.
So if you are saying I'm bias for pointing out Shorten will be a bad PM you're probably right given he has never had the opportunity to prove it, on the other hand Abbot has and he has failed miserably. Hate to say I told you so, but I did.

You seem to be way off track... don't know why... but people will tend to stay with the devil they know rather than the one they don't, nor will a primarily conservative population give a bad opposition a chance in government, even if the current government is falling short of expectations.

I disagree, as do the majority of those polled since six weeks after the last election.
Abbott is not Howard and even he lost.
Abbott is a disaster I've even seen you write as much yourself. You know as well as I do bad governments get voted out and this is a bad government. Not that the next Labor government will be any better, but the current one is certainly no better than the last Labor government either.
I think this one has gone past the chance of saving itself by dumping Abbott so it will go the way of all bad governments.
Every week we read how this mob have had yet another bad week, and that's in the conservative friendly press.
Not even Gillard had as many bad polls as this mob, every indicator is pointing to a disaster for the current government come next election. Pretending the voters won't vote for Shorten is like pretending they wouldn't vote for Abbott.
