The so called pause in atmospheric heating was absorbed by the oceans (Pacific ocean in particular) which is going to cause even more under sea floor (frozen) CH4/methane clathrate thawing, which in turn will generate even faster heating.

The 10 hottest years on record have all been since 1998, which means this so called pause in GW is just bunkum.

Wonder when or if the denialists will ever come up with a plausible alternate cause for the phenomena that just won't go away?

My guess is never.

Ultimately, GW is a good thing, because the denialists won't be prepared for reality.
They'll probably all sit in the Church of Obfuscation and prey for it to go away.
