Re: At the Movies...
I watched The Thomas Crown Affair (remake with Pierce Bronson) and wondered where the main music "Windmills of my Mind" came from.
Thomas Crown Affair
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0155267/
Windmills of my Mind performed by Sting.
The LYRICS are:
Round like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning on an ever spinning reel
Like a snowball down a mountain, or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that's turning running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find in the windmills of your mind!
Like a tunnel that you follow to a tunnel of its own
Down a hollow to a cavern where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving in a half forgotten dream
Or the ripples from a pebble someone tosses in a stream
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find in the windmills of your mind!
Keys that jingle in your pocket, words that jangle in your head
Why did summer go so quickly? Was it something that you said?
Lovers walking along a shore and leave their footprints in the sand
Is the sound of distant drumming just the fingers of your hand?
Pictures hanging in a hallway and the fragment of a song
Half remembered names and faces, but to whom do they belong?
When you knew that it was over you were suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning to the color of her hair!
Like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning on an ever spinning reel
As the images unwind, like the circles that you find in
The windmills of your mind!
Keys that jingle in your pocket, words that jangle in your head
When did summer go so quickly? Was it something that you said?
Lovers walking along a shore and leave their footprints in the sand
Is the sound of distant drumming just the fingers of your hand?
Pictures hanging in a hallway and the fragment of a song
Half remembered names and faces, but to whom do they belong?
When you knew that it was over in the autumn of good-byes
For a moment you could not recall the color of his eyes!
Like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning on an ever spinning reel
As the images unwind, like the circles that you find in
The windmills of your mind!

The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies
This film got bagged in many reviews but I disagree. I think it was a pretty good ending to the trilogy and lead-in to the Rings movies. The great battle just seemed to stop and the thousands of fighters just seemed to disappear but the special effects were good and it was sad to see the demise of a few characters but all in all I enjoyed it.

Strange movie. IMDb gave it 7.4/10 and Rotton Tomatoes rated it at 84% so I thought I would give it a go.
Even with the constant time travel it makes absolutely no sense. Headache material when the credits start going up trying to figure out how it could happen the way it did. Impossible.

Fast an Furious 7.
man is it fast and furious. Enjoyed it. Saw it in 4DX were the seat move, vibrate and water hits you. Great movie for this sort of thing with all the action.
If you like just to be entertained by lot's of action... pretty good.

Furious 7 has become the biggest hit in the Fast and the Furious franchise within 10 days of its debut. The movie made an estimated $60.6 million in its second weekend in release, bringing its domestic total to $252.5 million. That's ahead of the series' previous highest-grossing entry Fast and Furious 6 ($238.7 million).

Re: At the Movies...
Haven't been to a cinema for ... I forget how long, and rarely get to watch DVDs either.
I realease this is old hat now, but recently got to see Wolf Creek 2 (haven't seen 1st one yet).
Funniest movie I've seen for a long time.
Especially liked the bit where the villain blows that coppers head off.

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?
