The media do ramp it up a bit, but even I'm starting to think they could be a real threat. There are a lot of disgruntled young people who are doing whatever they can to get over to the ME and sign up to ISIS. They've grabbed Iraq's main oil refinery and have the means to export oil to Turkey and other ME nations. The west would be very worried about this, more than the people who are being slaughtered. We are probably being conditioned into accepting another full blown war, which has been in the pipeline for a few years now - hence the continued increase in US military and arms over here.
