The only question it raises is what drugs was Ridley Scott on when he let screen writer Damon Lindelof talk him into all of the wretched script changes that gave birth to this horrid fucking movie.
Gotta agree with that and wasn't their several writers employed?
They had two writers creditied, but it was Lindelof that convinced Scott to go full retard with the final version that became the movie. Literally everything that is wrong with this movie is the fault of Lindelof and Scott. Drugs may or may not been involved, but it's the only thing that seems a pluasable explaination for how Scott thought this was even remotely a good idea.

That was a terrible pun. Well played, sir.

Captain America; The Winter soldier.

6/10

Lots of action, not much else.
Huge continuity mistake about 1/2 way in.

David Lynch? Music by Toto? Could be interesting.

I love SciFi. Dune is as boring as bat shit. I haven't read the books, the movie just didn't do it for me.

I tried to read some Heinlein, Doc Smith, etc. but mostly I couldn't get interested. I preferred Ludlum, Forsyth and so forth. I preferred the Spy stuff.

I have never read a "romantic" book in my life. Even at 9 or 10 I was reading my Mother's books .... mostly classics .. D H Lawrence and the like.

This short is much better than the DE LAURENTIS movie... DE LAURENTIS says it all.
The books are great though.
Giger was doing designs for it originally then it got shelved and booted about till DE LAURENTIS grabbed it.
