I've always thought of Queenslanders as rednecks or banana benders. It's the all round the year heat up that way that affects the brain.

Clive was originally a Melbourne boy...was born and raised there...and moved to QLD in his mid teens from memory.

Could be the change in climate thats effected his brain and metabolism also.

No doubt. :D The heat and wealth made him eat so much that he is now morbidly obese. Heart attack material, I reckon. ;)

And yes, you used the wrong word to describe QLD voters, and are now trying to convince us otherwise.

Look on the bright side... you wont make the same mistake twice. ;)
Ah no mel... but I'm glad you have learned a new word. :du
Keep taking the meds and don't forget people can read. :rofl :rofl :rofl

You used the word in the following context....
It's possible that in Qld people are much more parochial that in NSW... eg; kevin and wayne are still in parliament.
That in NSW?

Or

Than in NSW?

;)

Ok Roach, i'll play with you.

Tell us why Kevin and Wayne still being in parliament is indicative of Queenslanders being parochial voters, and more so than NSW voters.

8-) If you can do this convincingly, then ill give you the benefit of the doubt re- parochial -vrs- Patriarchal.

He's not overly bright the old Clive... daddy (George Palmer Snr) paved the way to his success, with respects to his dubious relations with his Chinese Comrades... so it wouldn’t surprise me if China and Russia owns Clive Palmer and owned his father also.

His fathers commie Chinese associates is something he stonewalls when the media question him about his families time in China.

Did you know Clive played father of the bride to his now-wife at her first wedding?

No mel the word is definitely parochial...

Kevin and Wayne...? Let's see, both up there for being the worst PM and Treasurer we've ever had... yet Qlders still voted them back in... pretty simple really.

Parochialism...
pa·ro·chi·al·ism
/pəˈroʊkiəˌlɪzəm/ Show Spelled [puh-roh-kee-uh-liz-uhm] Show IPA
noun
a parochial character, spirit, or tendency; excessive narrowness of interests or view; provincialism.
