Maybe Kev will make out that the GFC was a Murdoch plot and it was Murdoch that made him overspend and he wants Abbott to come clean on what discussions he had with Murdoch before the GFC

I wonder what else can be Abbotts, Murdochs, people smugglers etc etc etc fault but never, ever, ever be anything to do with the govt whose policies directly affected the problems raised...
In early 2007 - there was information pouring into the media that there were 100,000 refugees waiting to come here. If Rudd hadn't changed the visa laws, our relationship with Indonesia would have been severely compromised. Half of the refugees have come here in the last six years - there is another half to come. Abbott will have to deal with that situation diplomatically if/when he gets in, otherwise he'll compromise our relationship with Indonesia which needs to remain relatively peaceful.

If a few of the refugees, after a stint in PNG manage to canoo to the top north of Australia in order to apply again for refugee status - perhaps they will deserve it?

You just can't leave your anti-Abbott personal bias at home can you.
Rudd made a promise to SBY then the next day broke it... how do you think that will effect out relationship? hmmmm.... honestly

Not if they aren't genuine refugees.

Libs had no idea how to stop the boats. TPVs never worked, just saw the boats crowded with wives/children as refugees on TPVs didn’t qualify for family reunion intakes.

A Regional Processing Centre was the obvious solution but the two conservative parties didn’t want that! Fuck the Libs and Greens! They were both happy for people to drown for their party–political purposes. Despise them both!

Living in the past, and pretending that circumstances have remained unchanged in almost ten years is what I call denying reality.

Roach, why must you post with abuse. It is just so boring, and of zero effect. I cannot believe you really want me to list the various relevant global and regional circumstances which have changed since Howard was defeated. Really?
