You now have your topic for your conspiranut theories.
Why?
You yourself admitted the ABC Compass tool was biased, skewed at best, and know fine well it's designed to tell people how the ABC thinks they should vote.

...As well as collect personal information.
Why would you recommend anything to do with the ABC?

Why don’t you stick to the election thread you started and the sane people will discuss the election here, eh? Roach could join you there and we might even get rational discussion!

Rudd counters Murdoch’s attack on the NBN:
“He’d like to give us the old heave ho and get his mate Mr Abbott in but it’s a free country. He can do that if that’s what he wishes … the bottom line is, it’s for others to ask the question why Mr Murdoch really doesn’t want the National Broadband Network to be connected to everyone’s home and everyone’s small business.
“Does he sense it represents a commercial challenge to Foxtel, the major cash cow for his company or not? But I’d rather hear from him on those questions.”

The NBN would allow too much competition to the tired old Foxtel rubbish. #Fraudband would just wire up everyone, theoretically, to be able to instal FoxTel.
Fuck Murdoch!

Tony Abbott commits to business tax cuts

A TONY Abbott government would give 750,000 companies a tax cut worth $5 billion over four years - and would then take it away from the biggest corporations.
Labor today said the bonus for business - expected to be the biggest single offer this election campaign - would have to be covered by tax increases in other areas and add to the cost of living for families.
"There aren't any easy savings out there. There's a number of ways Tony Abbott can fund this and none of them are good for Australian households," said Finance Minister Penny Wong on ABC radio.
Opposition Leader Abbott will today in Adelaide announce the 1.5 per cent company tax relief from July, 2015 which business groups have been demanding to help them through a period of slowing growth.
But Mr Abbott would also increase company tax on Australia's biggest 3200 businesses by 1.5 per cent to pay for his "signature" paid parental leave scheme which would allow women on as much as $150,000 a year six months off to look after a newborn child.
It's understood there has been significant debate within the Opposition recently on the order in which the cuts and increase could be implemented.
Senator Wong said the PPL proposal was "a Rolls Royce scheme" and questioned whether it was affordable. Really penny... you mean like the NBN. How ironic.
"It's a Rolls Royce scheme not even supported by members of his own party and the coalition," she said.
Senator Wong said Labor's cheaper alternative - which pays the minimum wage to all women who take it up - had already helped 300,000 families.
Tony Abbott concentrated on the major tax cut which he said would increase employment.
"Lowering the company tax rate is part of our plan to build a strong, prosperous economy with more investment and more jobs," Mr Abbott said today.
Mr Abbott pledged the cuts would "boost jobs and strengthen the economy" and pointed at Labor's failure to carry out its promise of a two per cent reduction.
"Labor has talked and talked about cutting the company tax rate. We will actually do it," he said.
And he quoted former Treasury chief Ken Henry as saying in 2011, " ... if the company income tax were to be cut, the principal beneficiaries would be workers."
The Henry review of the tax system said previous cuts to the company tax rate had been "an important element of policy reforms that have led to strong growth" while further cuts "would underpin further growth."
Another Monk free policy zone announcement...

The final word
Having established at the beginning that Labor has spent a bucket of taxpayers’ money on a project to research graffiti in women’s toilets it’s perhaps worthy of note that estimates week was also the week when it was revealed that Julia Gillard has banned Ministers from taking pens and paper into Caucus meetings.
Maybe if she’d taken the pens and paper off them before she told them she was banning their use then someone wouldn’t have used a pen and paper to write it down and leak the story.
Meanwhile over at the Department of the Senate there’s more news on pens and paper. They are conducting a risk assessment for stationery items used by its officers. Senator Ryan wanted to know what the risk assessment was for using a pen.
Finally we learned that the Department of Families, Housing Community Services and Indigenous Affairs is spending $55,000 to teach staff how to write to the Minister. Given that the Minister herself has been banned from using a pen and paper, perhaps this is prudent.

Monk, you make that sound like a bad thing.
Can you blame Abbott for not wanting to risk being shafted by GALP infiltrated candidates like ex-nationals Tony Windsor, Rob Oakeshott and former Green Andrew Wilkie?
Remember, Tony Windsor was dumped as the Nationals candidate for New England after information emerged he had previously accepted funding from Labor to run as a state independent against Nationals candidates.
There are plenty more turncoats where they came from, so Abbotts making sure we don’t end up with the same dysfunctional minority government Labor bribed and swindled their way to government with last time.
Take Bob Katters party for instance...do you believe it's truly independent of the Labor party?
Katters preferences will go straight to Clive Palmers new party thats filled with ex- LNP turncoats like Tony Windsor the Liberals rejected and his preferences will go straight to Labor by default.
Mr Palmer fancies himself as Australia’s next president... and would love us to become a republic.
Dont let Palmers mining interests fool you, he's an old Labor boy from way back and will preference accordingly.
In recent times, many new minority parties have registered with the AEC with the express intention of fooling their electorates in order to hand their votes (by way of preferences) straight back to Labor.
The last thing Australia needs is another maverick minority government in the face of a slowing economy.
