Couple prices I looked at, I will have much faster, much more reliable broadband and a much bigger data cap at a combined internet+phone monthly bill rather less than I am paying now.

The packages I have looked at are pretty pricey.

$80 per month for 100gb plus another $80 on top for a turbo pack supposedly delivering the highest speed, which they cannot guarantee as individual premises differ.

I think it will be all rather expensive and Monk's $20 is a pipe dream.
At $20 a month I'd be on it in a flash. not likely though.

$20 UNLIMITED is a dream ....... current rates? Download a game .... 20GB and go over your 15GB a MONTH that is supposedly "unlimited". You want 100GB per month, that's an extra $10-15 a month. UNLIMITED? Perhaps $150 a month?

That's for standard 12/1 Mbps. If you use less than 20GB per month you can't have much use for really fast downloads anyway as you can't download too much.

You forgot to mention monk they were minimum costs and services and costs may vary etc, etc, etc.....

Telstra is offering 12 MBS speeds with download variations from $80-$130 per month.

I suggest you stop drooling now.

If it costs more than $30-$40 a month just for the Net they can all forget it.... most people won't be able to afford it.
