Here is an assessment on this report I have found. It feel like the deniers are grasping at straws again.

I just took a look at the NASA report. It turns out that this article deals with the upper atmosphere, the thermosphere, not the troposphere. So, these gases are acting in the upper atmosphere, reflecting some of the sun's rays back into space and keeping the air tens to hundreds of miles above the Earth's surface cooler. Climate change is acting on the troposphere, or lower atmosphere, where weather occurs; from the ground up to 11 miles above the Earth's surface. Down here, CO2 acts as a greenhouse gas that traps light reflected off of the Earth's surface and re-radiates it at infrared wavelengths, causing a heating effect.

In other words, this article is completely irrelevant to the subject of climate change.

You are confusing 2 very different systems here I think. CO2 in the troposphere (lower atmosphere) is involved in warming and the greenhouse effect but this article refers to the stratosphere (upper atmosphere) where CO2 cools. These are 2 very different systems, albeit inter related. The science of tropospheric warming and stratospheric cooling are pretty easily explained and shouldn’t be lumped together as you have done here.

Another opinion based on someone more learned than me.

It's the fact that they're misrepresenting the NASA study and using statements out of context to try and support something different and incorrect. The NASA study was describing the effects in the thermosphere. The article was trying to apply the same result of the NASA study to the lower atmosphere. But that's not how it works. The upper atmosphere does block exactly what was listed in the NASA study. But the lower atmosphere, where the greenhouse effect happens, also does the opposite, as CrazyPhud pointed out already. The lower atmosphere traps energy from leaving, for the same reasons the upper atmosphere prevents energy from entering. And that's the problem. Man made CO2 output has increased, and more of it is being trapped in the lower atmosphere because it can't leave, contributing to climate change.

This isn't a controversial idea either. This article is just completely misrepresenting the info.

An anthropogenic release of 300 Gton C (as we have already done) has a relatively small impact on future climate evolution, postponing the next glacial termination 140 kyr from now by one precession cycle.

Release of 1000 Gton C … is enough to decisively prevent glaciation in the next few thousand years, and given the long atmospheric lifetime of CO2, to prevent glaciation until 130 kyr from now.

If the anthropogenic carbon release is 5000 Gton or more….[...]… The model predicts the end of the glacial cycles, with stability of the interglacial for at least the next half million years…

I envision education taking the place of religion. I'm thinking something like this for the future: religion viewed not as an actual belief system but in terms of historical importance through the lense of its influence on culture, holy books interpreted as literature only, churches become museums or libraries, and in schools science and math taking the place of superstition and "magic" to explain the way nature works.
