I presume that the counting has finally finished as The Crimes has a headline:

One man holds balance of power

This one:

8/8/1 Apparently, although according to the AEO site they are still counting.

Not that it matters but at least the Libs got 70 or so MORE votes than the ALP. :rofl

Talk about a Mickey Mouse Government.

What's the betting on him throwing in with Labor, Neferti?

Well, obviously it's the most likely outcome. He seems to be holding out for some commitments on a light rail network.

A fait accompli, I reckon. Rattenbury is saying he will "take his time to negotiate" .... yeah yeah we all believe that. That is exactly what the Greens did last Election ... they took 2 weeks to "decide" to choose Labor. What a bloody joke.

Here is the latest from the ABC.

Well, yeah. He'll take his time, seeing what he can get Labor to promise. Hardly surprising.

Well if its a forgone conclusion and most would think that, even Labor politicians, why would they offer him much of anything?

Perhaps this will help the Greens gain some leverage for the next Federal election. The polls indicate that Abbott is on the nose at the moment.
