Politics of the Greens
Weaken the ALP vote but preserve the LNP vote:

The Greens then hoover up support from Labor.
Their strategy is reminiscent of the Trot’s tactics in Young Labor and the Trots would have moved to the Greens very early on—they like to use any dissident movement for their ends.

They have had no choice but to defend themselves against Labor's recent campaign to put them on the outer. They are still the best party out of the three and will definitely pick up a few Labor seats at the next election.

Mantra with the fairies at the bottom of her garden approach.
ALL the Greens have ever done is suck at the Labor vote. Bandt will lose his seat next election and Greens will lose a couple of Senators.

Labor has been relying on greens prefs for waaaayyy too long now. They will never govern in their own right ever again.

Re: Politics of the Greens
It's the other way around - Labor has been detrimental to the Greens in many ways. It is unlikely Bandt will lose his seat - he seems well established now and has become a fairly decent politician.Jovial Monk wrote:Mantra with the fairies at the bottom of her garden approach.
