Well, what else is there to spend your money on if you are this rich. I see a future of super rich living a very long time and the rest of us being work horses to drive their wealth engines. Many SciFi ideas are becoming a reality.

What does the world’s richest man still want after making all those billions? More time to spend them.
Jeff Bezos is said to be one of the investors in a well-funded Silicon Valley start-up recruiting some of the world’s top genetic scientists to seek the secrets of eternal life.
The Amazon founder is believed to have put millions of dollars from his nearly $200 billion fortune into Altos Labs, a project exploring gene reprogramming. The company is being set up by Yuri Milner, a Russian internet entrepreneur with plans to open labs in California, Britain and Japan.
Bezos, 57 and recently retired, is said to have a fascination with preventing ageing. In his parting message to Amazon shareholders, he urged the company to stay nimble by quoting from the biologist Richard Dawkins: “Staving off death is a thing that you have to work at . . . If living things don’t actively work to prevent it, they would eventually merge with their surroundings and cease to exist as autonomous beings. That is what happens when they die.”
The Amazon founder is said to have invested in Altos through Bezos Expeditions, his investment office. It did not respond yesterday to a request for comment.
What do you think. Is it worth it.
Imagine if the end solution is simple, their is not real reason why life cannot be extended for a very long time. If this can be overcome, it cannot be given to everyone, the planet will die with us being the infestation.

Remember that even a millionaire can only put one leg in his pants at a time, drive one car, live in one house and so forth.
Having lots of money to buy "stuff" must get boring after a while.
Oh, and EVERYBODY dies, eventually.

But what if money could change that for you?

I wouldn't want to live forever however you can always pull the trigger. However extending my life as long as i was able to remain active and healthy would be appealing. It will happen one day.
Then we will the haves and have nots with regards to time alive. What a shitty world it will be.

Aren't there some people who have had their bodies frozen so that they can "come back" once Science has worked out how that can happen?

I must have ESP! Today in the Mirror is an article about "frozen bodies".
Frozen bodies and brains of wealthy Brits and Americans are SNATCHED from Russian lab where they were stored in the hope of being brought back to life: Cryogenics firm owners' bitter divorce leads to raid

It will all come down to money.
The rich despots will live forever
Workers will be left to die.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream
