SpaceX

Anyone watch the SpaceX landing?

Quite an achievement for what is essentially a private company. It has the potential to change orbital travel quite considerably as a reusable rocket depending on how the "reusability" pans out after they have evaluated what needs to be refurbished and rebuilt.

Yeah, I mean that was ... spectacular ... really puts things into perspective: Donald Trump is a non-entity. Elon Musk ... this calls for a toast!

Yes, saw it. Bloody excellent. It was like an episode of the Thunderbirds.

Good a see a billionaire do space. I would if I had the money.

Elon Musk's money has also been put to use on his physical appearance - he used to be the frail, balding guy and not very attractive.

That's a big transformation. Hair transplants don't usually look that good. Maybe he has been to Warnies barber.

SpaceX's Falcon Heavy is due to lift off tomorrow. This is a huge thing and quite exciting.

Leading up to this Elon Musk has released a bloopers type video of all the failed landings ...

Amazing stuff for anyone interested. Successful launch!!

Both boosters landed back on earth and looked so graceful. No word on whether the centre core has landed on the drone ship as the video coverage was lost on landing.

You can watch the boosters land at around 27 mins. Amazing.
