There is no doubt about it -
we shouldn't be pumping billion of tons of CO2, soot and methane into the atmosphere.
I was hoping that Thorium molten salt reactors would be the answer -
or maybe fusion reactors -
or maybe drilling deep holes into the Earth's crust for geothermal energy -
but there seems to be too many problems that scientists have not overcome yet.
In the meantime Australia's carbon footprint is tiny compared
to countries like China.
