You might have forgotten that all my family and many friends live in Melbourne and there are some friends in Sydney. I used to have to wait until 7 pm to ring them for birthdays and so forth to avoid the exorbitant STD costs but now I can ring anytime for 15 cents. I got into the habit of emailing them and still do, so rarely ring them.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2019 1:44 pmNational calls are almost redundant anyway as most small business numbers are now listed as, or directed to, mobiles and that can be quite expensive.
i am sure Sprint can search up what he needs.
People call me! My use of the phone is to make appointments with doctors or whatever, not to get on the phone for a chin-wag. Ditto my mobile phone. Only trusted friends and family has the number. I don't list my mobile phone anywhere.
I had an email, ostensibly, from the Bank I use this morning, telling me that an online purchase had been "stopped" and my Bank account "on hold" until I clicked on the "click here" (in red).
Well, I didn't come down in yesterday's shower and I don't have any pending online purchases, so I deleted the email and signed into my Bank account, as per normal. Phishing scam, undoubtedly and reported it. The stupid thing was that the scan email had actually copied what the Bank states "we do NOT send emails to customers with links, etcetera". Just be careful .... this is perhaps a new scan to rip off folk.
Sorry, I went way off topic!
