My posts often are quite a few days apart, as I work in an industry that has me all over the place.

A little better than my last employer who sent me all over the world.
To places you could only have nightmares about.
I have seen the real country, not googled it like you.
I have met the real people and made friends in many countries.
Hell, in Hong Kong Qantas club, the manager knows me by name, I go through there so often.

I have travelled in country areas that require me to have bodyguards.
My company lost a man a few years ago in an area of South Africa only two weeks after I was there. He has never been found.

Yes I have seen much of the world, and not Google like you.

But one thing I can tell you, clearly and succinctly

The people live in fear every day
Goons and animals run the countries, beating, raping and killing at will.
Food is scarce
Medical attention is scarce
Justice, honour, truth and compassion do not exist.
