About opals

I like them better then diamonds.

What stones do you like?

I like Diamonds lol. Sapphires, Rubies, Emeralds and Opals are beautiful too.

I like sapphires, mainly because my mum and dad had a mine in Rubyvale in the early 70's

I have a few opals - all given to me by my mother. Two are rings and the other a pendant. I never wear them and find them unlucky. One of the rings, the big one, was mangled in the most bizarre way. Since then I have declined to wear the others. They have that reputation for being unlucky and I think it's not unwarranted.

I like Opals due to their colour variations.
I have about 40 peices of stone with Opal veins
