Doesn't explain why Boxy still holds global mod status though.
Incorrect Sappho. The election was always for 'Exalted Leader," and that is what I pointed out during the campaign. Boxy's 12 month's term as Exalted Leader expired as per the Constitution in late March.

There is no doubt that the election was for Admin., and let's not attempt to pretend otherwise.
Yep .. that's right!

Enough of the games and the BS!

Hand over the keys FD and let Aussie announce the new Mod!

This is beyond stupid now!

You will also have noticed that (Constitutionally) we never vote for Moderators. They are 'appointed' by 'Exalted Leader.'

I have now sent a PM to freediver (at Oz Pol.....he seems to be there more often that here) asking when he intends to remove boxy's access to the Admin Control Panel, and hand that access over to me.

Hey FD and everyone else .. I need to get ready for a family function now .. but when I come back later on tonight .. it would be great if Aussie could have the keys and if our new Mod could be announced (you know .. as per the Constitution) etc.

Take care all.

Quite a few years ago, we lived next door to a bratty pair of kids who used to jump our fence, steal toys and even easter eggs (for the easter-egg hunt) I had laid out the night before for my two to collect on easter Sunday. My two were 2 and 4, they were about 12 and 14, they even stole my sons toddler scooter and threw it up a tree in a nearby park, they were way out of control this pair...and the more I chastised them, the more obnoxious they became, so I smiled at them, then invited them to our family easter egg hunt. Rudely, they declined, (used a few choice colorful words) so I said OK boys, suit yourselves, then politely asked them not to steal the eggs I planned to lay out that night for the hunt then I toddled off.

Anyway... having already prepared the hoard, I intentionally laid out some easter-eggs which I had laced with nil-bite (the non-toxic polish you paint on children's nails to stop them biting their nails)... I was so excited, even turned out the lights and waited at the window to watch them and their mates jump the fence and steal the eggs.

Well, the next morning, whoa....if looks could kill....

Could this be a little bit like this election?

Again, I secretly hope so.

Naughty children must be punished after all.

Had you decided at any stage to actually talk to the people charged with their discipline?

Thats what the naughty little boys thought when they went scurrying off into their house with the sour easter eggs too I'm sure.

Admin = freediver in that scenario.....last active December, 2008.....which makes no sense.

boxy has been "active" today, but no post made.

My appointment as 'Mod' was made by boxy, as that is as far as the software allows him to go.

Unless freediver has decided the Constitution does not exist (and I for one do not believe that to be the case) freediver simply has not yet got around to giving effect to the election results.

It really is best to refrain from posting speculation, Monk.
