Let's just say that after your new moderator is appointed - I won't be back.....
Not much point in listening to your views then is there.

No point in giving them to you in the first place

It might be wise though to tell us all who you have chosen for the role, irrespective of whether you have the ability to place that person technically into the role.

And furthermore, I don't need buttons to monitor and 'moderate' this forum, all I need to do is state the obvious to those who are, we can all do this.

So, appointing me would be wasteful, when it's clear, I already keep a close eye on things, when I can.

It's just, I'm not always 'vocal' about doing so, well not as much as I used to be back in the old days when I would write it on the wall in the face of a corrupt administration allowing members IPs be siphoned/sold.

I think we all have a duty to report concerns when we see fit, (community effort), it's just it's good to know theres a responsible person we may report our concerns to so they in turn may take certain things up with 'higher management' aka Freediver, if they have the balls.

Because it's become apparent, some don't, this or don't believe theres a genuine need to ask important questions concerning site 'stats'...

That's the last dude you would be trusting.

You could ask yourself why, after Aussie was elected fair and square (and I have no idea why some are saying the election was rigged - how could Aussie have rigged an election he was not conducting) last Thursday, freeloader has still to appoint Aussie as an administrator.

What's happening freeloader? You seemed to be in a hurry to remove Aussie last time around - before he had even lost the election if I recall.

You see Lisa-Carl, I have noticed a common occurrence, a pattern, ....wherever I post, when you grease your way into the administration, orally or otherwise...(some how or another off the record or not)... I somehow end up being banned, particularly after I address forum weaknesses, security wise.

What you may or may not be aware of, is that others have noticed this too, so...you might want to work on that mask of yours...the veil is wearing a little thin.

;)

I have been invited to a number of PA portal sites, but as soon as I arrived, it became apparent someone else had registered my handle and email address even.. and I know I am not the only person who's experienced this interesting phenomena.

Does it bother me?

No, I just kick back, take notes, and carry on my merry way subtly bringing this to the attention of others wherever I see fit.

I think any sites security should form the basis of any administrators role, duties on any given site, wouldn't you agree Lisa?

So why appoint people who are naive, this or themselves are not tech-able enough to tackle issues when they occur?

Unless the objective is to install those who are easily pacified, this and don't raise concerns to the sites host, aka Freediver.

I ask far too many questions, so definitely would be an undesirable presence on any forum whereby something shoddy is going on in the background, and I know you know this.

They say keep your friends close and your foe's nearer, but believe you me, this would be counter-productive in this instance, and I think you know this, which is why false-nominating me which would be counter-productive to your pursuits, is fruitless, and I know you know this.

8-)

Put simply, there are too many 'niggling' doubts re- the entire PA- portal, and I personally am not prepared to moderate under these rather vague circumstances...it requires someone to be a regular presence, and given I leave the boards for days on end, this would be counter-productive.

I am a rule player, (particularly when it comes to people doing the wrong thing online and taking people for a ride) and I don't believe in 'jobs-for-da-boys' or cutting certain people 'permissions' simply because I know them as well as anyone could be expected to know anyone in an online environment.

Neither IQS or Mantra have a motive to suck-up to anyone, this or people-please, (unlike some here)...this and have been around the traps and sport an impressive resume for the technical aspect of running a 'reputable' 'legitimate' online environment.

I know both have their faults, (don't we all).. though also know between the pair of them they would be able to spot and contend with any devious ulterior agendas others may have, and think, this is probably one reason why neither of them would be elected by those operating unscrupulously online, this or even hosting this site itself.

I'm still waiting for feedback from freediver as to why I was banned from his ozpolitic site for bringing the 'said' sub-mods IP-mismanagement to his attention.
