Chill mantra... you're getting all pent up over something that hasn't been decided yet... Aussie hasn't even hinted at anyone yet. All this unfounded speculation is getting us nowhere in a hurry.

You're right Sappho - I am probably wrong. Maybe Aussie and Monk could confirm that I'm wrong.

 Their objective now is to allude to the appointment of such being a democratic process, gain our approval.
Lisa Jones and Annie have almost identical personalities, aside from the fact that Lisa Jones is "allegedly" decades younger. It's too late - Aussie will only gain Monk's approval, maybe Auzgirl's and Rainbows - and that's about it.
Lisa Jones is far too recent an arrival here.

A mod appointment IS an appointment, not a democratic process. Aussie stuffed up not deciding and announcing. A mod should be competent, not chosen for popular standing.

Hell just froze over.

What is required to bring all this to an end is the arrival of freediver. Until he hands over the keys......there is nothing I can do about appointing anyone.

Umm.....to keep an Election Promise....made in open for all the World to see. Would you like me to lock it mantra?

Aussie, do you honestly think this is the last forum on earth to post in?

*News-flash* It's not... OK!

You should be encouraging people to stay, not cheesing long term members off posting, or do you only want those who agree with your views posting on this site?

Sounds like you have a bit of an inferiority complex to me, need to feel autonomous and powerful.

Truth is, most of us couldn't give a fuck if you banned us or not...

If you keep threatening people this and demanding they state- their-posting-intention... (forum thuggery/bullying), then I doubt people will respond well to being treated like obedient children enslaved to your shrine.

Lol..piss off with it... you are a joke.

With a bit of luck - he's lost them. You said you have the keys anyway - so why can't you give Annie the buttons and make the announcement now? FD mightn't even look in here tonight.

Well I hope you're wrong.
I was under the impression the mod would be an active member, Pasta seems like the best bet to me,he carries no baggage, as I and others do, and I cant find one post that disagrees with his appointment.
I cant see Aussie appointing monk, sorry monk, but WW3 would break out if he did.

It might be wise though to tell us all who you have chosen for the role, irrespective of whether you have the ability to place that person technically into the role.
